The NTA has issued important instructions regarding the next NEET UG 2026 re-test, which is set to take place on June 21, 2026. After the exam was cancelled earlier this year on May 3, NTA has launched an online portal where candidates can make changes in their current address and also choose two cities of their choice to write the exam. This process is totally free of cost and will run till May 21, 2026. Moreover, NTA has confirmed that all application fees paid last time would be fully refunded.

Important Points about the Notice Issued by NTA
The latest notice released by the NTA related to the NEET UG Re exam clarifies some important details related to exam city centre details, fee refund and re-exam details. Candidates must adhere to the following points and limitations when modifying their applications:
- Fixed Language of Examination: It is impossible to alter the language or medium of the examination paper selected during registration at any cost.
- Random Distribution: Although a candidate may select a particular city, their examination center shall be distributed randomly on an institutional basis and may not coincide with the center used previously for examinations.
- Geographical Limitation for Regional Languages: There are certain regional languages that can only be conducted from certain geographical locations.
