NEET 2026 Fee Refund Date Extended: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has again extended the last date of the NEET UG fee refund window. Students can now change, update, and verify their bank account details till 14th July 2026. NTA took this step because a lot of students were left to verify or update their bank account details. Candidates who are still left to receive the refund for NEET 2026 must update their details at the earliest, considering this as the second chance to make the changes and updates. Before 14th July, the last date to update the details for the NEET 2026 refund was 7th July 2026. The remaining candidates are required to visit the official website and complete the process of updating as soon as possible.
Who is Eligible to Receive the NEET UG 2026 Fee Refund?
As per the NTA NEET 2026 Refund Date Extended notice, Candidates who have appeared for the NEET Examination on 3rd May 2026 are eligible to receive the refund fee amount according to the NTA. The examination authority has decided to refund the application fees to the candidates because of the paper leak issue. After the cancellation of the examination, NTA conducted a fresh exam for the medical aspirants on 21st June 2026.
NEET 2026 Refund Window Extended: Steps to Update Bank Account Details
Candidates who are eligible and willing to update or correct their bank account details for the NEET UG fee refund procedure can follow the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Students must visit the official website – @neet.nta.nic.in
Step 2: They are required to log in using their application number and password or birth date.
Step 3: Click on the option to update bank account details or the refund section.
Step 4: Once the link opens, candidates are required to verify or update their bank account details and select the submit option.
Step 5: On submission, a confirmation page will appear; candidates are guided to download the same for future reference.
