NEET PG Topper List 2025: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will announce the NEET PG topper list on 31 July 2025, right after the NEET PG 2025 results declaration. The list will comprise overall, category-wise, and state-wise toppers, as well as tie-breaking rules and the qualifying percentile. The aspirants will be able to check the topper list of NEET 2025 by visiting the official website @natboard.edu.in.
In case of a tie, ranks will be decided based on the number of correct answers, fewer wrong answers, and the age of the candidate. Types of NEET PG Toppers 2025
The NEET PG 2025 topper list is prepared by the NBEMS on the basis of All India Rank, All India 50% quota rank, All India 50% category rank, and State quota/private medical college/AFMS rank. Tie-Breaking Rules for NEET PG Topper List
Here are the tie-breaking rules for the NEET PG Merit/Topper list in case of a tie in scores:
- Candidates with higher marks in Biology are given preference over others.
- If a tie persists after considering Biology, preference goes to candidates with higher marks in Chemistry.
- If the tie still exists, preference is given to candidates with higher marks in Physics.
- After this, the candidate with a lower proportion of incorrect answers to correct answers overall across all subjects will be given preference.
- Lastly, if all the above criteria fail to resolve the tie, an independent expert committee will conduct a random selection process to break the tie.
Note: The National Testing Agency (NTA) never uses the age of the candidate and their application number for the tie-breaking process.
