How is the NEET Rank Calculated?
The NEET ranking is based on percentile calculation of the scores obtained by a candidate and those obtained by other candidates.
There are some variables that change the actual rank: the number of applicants appearing for the exam, the level of difficulty of that particular paper, and the highest scores achieved by a candidate among that year’s examinees. Previous years’ data and some statistical modelling techniques are used to calculate the approximate rank at the national level for a particular score or range of scores for the NEET rank predictor.
