The National Testing Agency has officially announced that the NEET UG 2025 admit card will be released on May 1, 2025 for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for undergraduate students (NEET UG) 2025, scheduled to take place on May 4, 2025. With over 23 lakh candidates expected to appear for NEET UG 2025, downloading the admit card on time is crucial.

The NTA, which conducts NEET UG every year, will release the admit card on its official website – neet.nta.nic.in. Candidates must download their hall tickets before the exam date to ensure entry into the examination hall. NTA previously released the City slips for the examination on 23rd April 2025, containing the name of the city’s candidates will be appearing at. 

Why is the Admit Card Important?

The NEET UG admit card is an essential document for candidates appearing in the exam without which they will not be able to enter the examination hall. The admit card acts as a hall ticket to enter the examination venue and as an identity proof card to the candidate. It contains vital details such as:

  • Candidate’s Name, Roll Number, and Application Number
  • Exam Date and Time
  • Exam Centre Address
  • Photograph and Signature of the Candidate
  • Exam Day Guidelines and Instructions

With this, remember to carry the admit card on the day of the examination, along with 2 password size photograph and one valid identity proof, (Aadhar Card/Pan Card or etc)

How to Download the NEET UG 2025 Admit Card?

Candidates can follow these simple steps to download their admit card:

  1. Visit the official websitehttps://neet.nta.nic.in/
  2. Click on the “NEET UG 2025 Admit Card” link on the homepage.
  3. Log in using your application number and password or date of birth.
  4. Enter the security pin displayed on the screen.
  5. Download the admit card and verify all details carefully.
  6. Print multiple copies for future reference.

Details to Check on the Admit Card

Once downloaded, candidates must carefully verify the following details:

  • Personal Information – Name, Date of Birth, Gender, and Category
  • Exam Details – Date, Time, and Exam Centre Address
  • Photograph and Signature – Must match the ones uploaded during registration
  • Exam Day Guidelines – Rules regarding dress code, permitted items, and reporting time

If any discrepancies are found, candidates should immediately contact the NTA helpline for corrections.

NEET UG 2025 Exam Details

The NEET UG 2025 exam will be conducted in offline mode (pen-and-paper format) on May 4, 2025. The test will consist of 180 questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany & Zoology), with a total duration of 3 hours in one shift, 2 to 5 P.M. 

However, The marking scheme remains the same:

  • +4 marks for every correct answer
  • -1 mark for each incorrect response
  • -0 for unanswered questions
