The latest list for the UP NEET PG 2025 counselling allotment was released on 17 March 2025, which is for the UP NEET PG counselling 2024 stray vacancy round. For each round in the counselling process, a separate allotment list is published on the official website.

UP NEET PG Counselling Eligibility Criteria 2025

Below are the main eligibility requirements for UP NEET PG Counselling 2025:

  • Candidate must have qualified NEET-PG-2025 (for MD/MS/Diploma/DNB) or NEET-MDS-2025 (for MDS).
  • Candidate must have completed their one-year compulsory rotatory internship:
    • On or before 30th June 2025 for MDS courses.
    • On or before 15th August 2025 for MD/MS/Diploma/DNB courses.
  • If a candidate has completed their MBBS or BDS degree from a government or private medical or dental college in Uttar Pradesh, they can apply for both Government State Quota seats and Private Medical College seats. 
  • If an applicant graduated from AMU (Aligarh), BHU (Varanasi), or AIIMS (Raebareli/Gorakhpur), they cannot apply for Government State Quota seats, but they can apply for Private Medical and Dental College seats in Uttar Pradesh. 
  • If they completed their MBBS or BDS degree outside Uttar Pradesh, they can only apply for Private Medical and Dental Colleges, Institutes, or Universities in Uttar Pradesh. 
  • Candidates who are already enrolled in a course from a previous NEET-PG or NEET-MDS exam cannot participate in the NEET PG-2025 or NEET-MDS-2025 counselling until they finish and pass their current course.
  • Only NEET-qualified PMHS (Provincial Medical Health Services) candidates whose names are listed by the Director General of Health Services, as per UP government policy, are eligible for special weightage and counselling.
  • Only in-service candidates are eligible for state quota DNB seats.

Below is a step-by-step guide to register for UP NEET PG Counselling 2025:

Step 1: Register Online: Visit the official website: https://upneet.gov.in.

Step 2: Log in using your NEET-PG/NEET-MDS 2025 Roll Number and the same email ID used for NEET PG/MDS registration.

Step 3: Pre-filled Details: Now, the candidate’s basic information, including Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Date of Birth, etc., will be automatically filled from NBE records.

Step 4: Enter Registration Form: Fill in only the required details such as domicile, category, sub-category, in-service (PMHS) status, MBBS/BDS college, and address.

Step 5: Pay Registration Fee: Pay a non-refundable registration fee of INR 3000 (covers 1st, 2nd, and 3rd rounds). For the Stray Vacancy round, fresh registration is required with a fee of INR 3000.

Step 6: Generate Registration Number: After submitting the form, a registration number will be generated.

Step 7: Create Password: Set a password during registration for choice filling and locking. 

Step 8: Download Documents: Download and save your registration form and fee slip for future reference.

Step 9: Pay Security Fee: Pay the refundable security fee as per your choice:

  • INR 30,000 for Government Medical & Dental Colleges/Institutes/Universities (can opt only for government seats).
  • INR 2,00,000 for Private Medical Colleges/Institutes/Universities (can opt for both government and private medical seats).
  • INR 1,00,000 for Private Dental Colleges/Institutes/Universities (can opt for both government and private dental seats).
  • Download the security money receipt after payment.
