NEET PG 2025 Exam: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2025 is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) for admissions to MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses in medical colleges across India. NEET PG 2025 Exam

NEET PG 2025 application process has started on the official portal of NBEMS from 17 April 2025, and the last date to submit an application form is 07 May 2025. Interested candidates can apply online at www.natboard.edu.in by submitting the required documents. NEET PG application form fee of NEET PG 2025 is INR 3500 for general candidates and INR 2500 for SC/ST/PwD/Physically Handicapped candidates.

NEET PG 2025 Exam Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements to appear for NEET PG Exam 2025:

• Candidates must have an MBBS degree or a provisional MBBS Pass Certificate from a recognized medical institution in India.
• Candidate must have completed their one-year internship by 15 August 2025. 
• A valid registration from the NMC/State Medical Council is also required.
• There is no minimum percentage required to appear for the NEET PG Exam 2025. But, for counseling and admission, the minimum qualifying mark for the General category is 50%, whereas for SC/ST/OBC candidates, it is 40%.
• No upper or lower age limit for NEET PG 2025.
• There are no restrictions on the number of attempts.
• Eligibility for State Quota & AIQ: Candidates must fulfill domicile and other requirements set by respective states for state quota seats. Although, it is open to all Indians, including NRIs, OCIs, and PIOs.

NEET PG 2025 Exam Application Form

The NEET PG 2025 application form will be available online on the NBEMS official website, with registrations expected to start on 17 April 2025. The applicants can apply online before the NEET PG 2025 application form last date of 07 May 2025. The NEET PG 2025 results will be announced by NBEMS on 15 July 2025 through the official website www.nbe.edu.in. Aspiring candidates who will appear in the entrance exam can check the result by entering their application ID & password, and are able to download the result once it’s announced.

NEET PG 2025 Cutoff

The NEET PG 2024 cutoff was first set at the 50th percentile for General category candidates, 45th percentile for General-PwBD, and 40th percentile for other reserved categories. However, the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) later reduced and revised these qualifying percentiles to the 15th percentile for General and EWS categories and the 10th percentile for SC, ST, OBC, and PwD categories.

Subsequently, the revised NEET PG 2024 Cutoff was as:

• General & EWS: 15th percentile – Later reduced to 5th percentile
• SC/ST/OBC/PWD: 10th percentile – Later reduced to 5th percentile
