NEET 2026 Fee Refund Link: NTA is expected to start the registration fee refund process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test NEET UG 2026 re-exam soon. However, the link to the claim fee has not been released on the official website yet. Once the link will be activated, candidates will be able to submit their bank account details to receive a refund of the registration fee. 

The candidates will not have to pay any extra fee for the re-examination. They must visit the official website, log in to the portal and enter valid bank account details to claim the refund.

The re-exam is being conducted, as the exam held on 3rd May was cancelled due to allegations of paper leak and other irregularities. The cancellation of the NEET UG 2026 exam affected more than 22 lakh candidates who are seeking admission to MBBS, BDS and AYUSH courses across the country. 

Now the Re-exam is scheduled to be conducted on 21 June 2026. The exam timelines will be from 2 PM to 5:15 PM, and it will be conducted in offline mode. Students are provided with 15 minutes more to complete the exam verification, documentation and other formalities smoothly.

Step 1: Firstly, applicants need to visit the NEET UG official website at  https://neet.nta.nic.in/. 
Step 2: Log in to the portal by entering details like application number and password or date of birth.
Step 3: Once logged in, click on the “Fee Refund” or “Bank Details Update” option.
Step 4: Enter your bank details such as account holder name, account number and IFSC code.
Step 5: Check all the details mentioned carefully and click on the submit button.
Step 6: You can download or save the confirmation for future use.

NEET Refund Amount 2026 Date: Is the NEET Refund Process Delayed?

The NTA had earlier said that the NEET UG 2026 refund link would be activated on May 21 so that candidates could submit their bank details and receive their fee refund. However, the link is still not active on the official website and no official date has been announced yet.
