Health Minister Reviews Preparations for NEET UG Counselling

Before the NEET UG 2026 counselling process, Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda held a high-level review meeting on 29th July 2026 to analyse and check the preparedness for the admission process. In the meeting, he reviewed the counselling schedule, preparation of digital system, cyber security measures, grievance redressal methods, candidate support service and coordination with participating medical colleges. The Health Minister directed officials to ensure that the counseling process is fair, transparent, and merit-based. He also emphasized the importance of the smooth conduct of the admission process and providing a seamless and hassle-free experience for all candidates.
