Re-NEET Provisional Answer Key Out: Check Responses & Raise Objections Before June 28 

Re-NEET Provisional Answer Key 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the NEET RE exam answer key on its official website. Candidates who appeared for the NEET re-exam 2026 can now download the provisional answer key and also their recorded responses and question papers. Students can compare their responses with the provisional answer key to get an estimate of their likely scores before the NEET 2026 results are announced.

Along with the provisional key, the NTA has also opened the objection window. This allows candidates to challenge any answer they believe is incorrect. To challenge an answer, students need to submit supporting documents and pay INR 200 per question. This amount is refundable in full if the challenge is accepted after review by the subject expert team.

Candidates must submit their objections before the NEET objection window deadline. The answer key challenge window will remain open until 28 June 2026. Once it closes, the NTA will forward all the objections raised by the students to subject experts for review. If any challenge is found to be valid, the corresponding answer will be revised in the NEET final answer key. Then this final answer key will be used to prepare the NEET UG 2026 re-exam results. 

Note: All the candidates are advised to check the provisional answer key carefully and raise objections, if any, within the given deadline. The final answer key and NEET 2026 re-exam result will be announced after all the challenges have been reviewed.

Step 3: Choose your question paper set or series code.

Re NEET UG 2026 Answer Key: Steps to Raise Objections

Candidates who find any incorrect answer in the NEET UG 2026 re-exam provisional answer key can follow the steps below to raise an objection. The process is completely online and must be completed by 28 June on the official NTA website.

Step 1: Visit the NTA official NEET website.
Step 2: Under the Candidate Activity Board, Click on the “Answer Key Challenge for NEET UG 2026 Re-examination” link.
Step 3: Enter your application number, password and Captcha code in the required fields.
Step 4: Enter the question paper series code from the booklet you received during the exam.
Step 5: Choose the questions you wish to challenge from your specific paper set.
Step 6: Upload valid supporting proof such as NCERT books or standard textbook material, to support your objection.
Step 7: Carefully review all selected challenges before final submission, as no changes will be allowed later.
